For the first time I now have a need to print something on about 25 CD-R discs and would like to know if my computer supports this, as there is no need to spend extra money on printable cds if the drive doesn`t support it.

Your best bet is to follow the link below and look for the additional optical sensor that is explained. Most Lightscribe enabled notebook drives don't have the Lightscribe logo printed on the tray bezel due to space limitation.
