Hello, everyone.

I'm using an HP dvd555s external USB Lightscribe DVD burner with Nero 8 CoverDesigner. When I go into Cover Designer and choose New, select Lightscribe and click the Video tab and choose Empty Document, it lets me design my lightscribe label. But when I try to burn it, only a thin portion of the label is burned. You can see what I'm talking about here: http://i53.tinypic.com/2co4q6x.jpg

I did a search for this problem, and found that someone else encountered it, and he was new to computers and hadn't used a Lightscribe disc. Let me assure you that I am using a Lightscribe disc to do this, but I still get this problem. Can anyone help?

And problem solved, but I'll leave this here in case anyone else has this problem. For some reason, the software didn't give me an error, but when I tried doing it again, it gave me the "Connection Error" message that's sometimes associated with anti-virus software. I also found out on-line that I needed to install Nero's Lightscribe host software: http://dl1.nero.com/LS_HSI.EXE

So I disabled antivirus and installed the host software, and I still had the problem. But when I turn disable screen saver and close my laptop, the problem no longer appears. Not sure why that happens.
