I bet this has been suggested before, and wouldn't be surprised if HP is already working on this, any chance of full-color light-scribing in the future?

LightScribe labeling is currently only available in black with grayscale. There have been no announcements about the future availability of Full Color LightScribe.

LightScribe discs are available in gold, red, green, blue, yellow, and orange backgrounds and the designs appear in grayscale, similar to a black-and-white photograph (even if you create your design in full color).

You can create your designs taking the most advantage of the available background color. Please see some attached examples. I have used images composed mostly of colors similar to the available background and black or gray colors that can be rendered by the drive.

How the heck do you do File Attachments?

I haven't been able to figure that out!

Also, I switched to eWebEdit Pro and I can't get the Font Color to work either!

I have my answer! You guys use eWebEditPro, but your web administrator has disabled several of the features. Among them are upload of files like pictures and the font color looks like another. No wonder everyone is uoset about sharing! I've managed to put pictures and templates, but I feel your website is suffering when the topics try to load. I'm having to refresh pages a lot more lately. I hope you guys put an upload feature for custom template and backgrounds.

HI John & raptor & everybody!!!

I was still able to use Paint.NET to help generate 5 Templates from the JPG file John posted. I have, also, generated 3 other custom templates. I posted a lot of stuff in the Forum Feedback section and would be willing to send my stuff to anyone who send me an Email using the MESSAGE option in the Forum.

i will say if you release a full color program for light scribe it will make millions, all these comments and questions you would think light scribe would be jumping for the opp. its sad really i hope another company doesnt get the chance first. build it and they will come...
