is there a blank label template that can just have images pasted onto it. i've tried to paste one big image onto the label using  the 3 blank templates that come with the software, but the text bars get in the way or the space they give you is not big enough. am i doing something wrong? sorry i probably didn't seach hard enough on this forum.

ok i did something and got it to work somewhat. i still can't get the image to move all around the template. its stuck on the upper half of the cd template.

Hi jason !

There was a template named "Mondrian" that was distributed before, but I don't think it is anymore.  It had places for several Images, and had a "modernistic" set of crossing lines.

I made a ZIP File for someone a while ago, and still have it.

I could send it to you to look over.  I might be able to design a Custom Template for you.  You would have to send me a description of what you need (A sketch would help).

I made similar posts on other threads.

How I create Labels Containing a Track List

I've put together some stuff I use to create CD Labels.

  • I wrote up the procedure I use in a PDF File.
  • I make PDF Files of any Documentation I create.
  • I include an "Additional Stuff" Folder which contains anything I create while developing My Custom Templates.
  • I created ZIP Files for 6 Windows Vista "Right-Click" Commands I developed to support this and other procedures I use.
  • I "ripped off" the "Template Playlist Beta" ''Full" and "Half" Disk Templates; fixed them and create a ZIP File of the two templates.
  • I have a PDF that contains "Template vs. Simple Labelers" - a comparison of what is the structure of each template.
  • I have found 5 FREE Tools I use for development.
  • I have a PDF which contains a "Mini Resume" and a lot of "LightScribe Stuff" I've researched.
  • I have developed 107 Custom Templates for the Template Labeler.
  • I have developed 5 collections of Images.
  • I have developed a New Custom Wedding Template for one Forum User and I did one for another Forum User a long time ago.
  • I have created Previews of all my Custom Templates and Images and have Catalogues of both as PDF Files.
  • I have created 143 ICONS and a PDF Preview.
  • I have developed 4 Test "borders" for the Simple Labeler.
  • I tend to concentrate on Filling the entire disk surface especially with TEXT, Bold, Outline, White Text, and More Font Control.
  • I have all this and more in My MS Office Live Workspace.
  • 83 Forum Users have taken my offer.

Send me a Private MESSAGE containing:

  • Your correct E-mail Address (Required to send links);
  • Your full name (For my records); and
  • A nickname you use (For my records).

I am retired on a disability, and I do this TOTALLY FREE.

I also try my best to keep E-mail Addresses confidential. I use "Blind Carbon Copies" when I send out anything.

I only occasionally send out Special Notifications, if I do something major.

The only "COST" is your E-mail Address which is REQUIRED by MS Office Live Workspace to allow access.

disks come out blank i.e. darker, but blank & when I try print preview it shows a solid black disk.  It has worked once (out of 9 verbatim disks) & then not quite right.  I've tried the diagnostic program which did nothing.  Any ideas please?

I have several Custom Templates which are JUST Images or JUST Text!

If you need something specific, I can also develop one.

I just am developing a collection of Photo Collages!

I am now getting started with lightscribe program. I am having issues with the program i have downloaded from the website. Specifically, I am trying to find the label software tailored to both templates and blank designs. I worked with the lightscribe program on another HP computer (software was pre-loaded when purchased) that allowed me to insert my own spefice images and add multiple titles in different fonts. Does anybody know what i am talking about and know how i can get the same software ?

I created ZIP Files for 9 Windows Vista & 7 "Right-Click" Directory Commands I developed to support making Track Lists & other procedures I use.
One of these is a commands will make a Full Disk Playlist Label which puts a complete Track List in the Frst Text Item.
The Full Disk Template can be changed to any other desired template & edited to suit.
I've created a "LightScribe Playlist Template Creator" & am looking for Users to help test & report error.
I "ripped off" the "Template Playlist Beta" (For which LS has NO documentation, NO source, & LAID OFF the Technician) "Full" & "Half" Disk Templates; fixed them; & then create a ZIP File of the two templates.
I have a PDF that contains "Template vs Simple Labelers" - a comparison of what is the structure of each template.

I have a PDF which contains a "Mini Resume" & a lot of "LightScribe Stuff" I've researched.
I continually develop PDFs on the Tools I use for development.
I've developed 507 Custom Templates (in 80 Collections + 10 Private Ones), 108 Images (in 12 Collections), 174 Icons, & 4 Test Background Images for the LS SL.
I've developed approximately 100 Test Templates that were use to learn or to write Newsletters.
I developed 4 Test "borders" for the Simple Labeler.
I developed a New Custom Wedding Template for one Forum User.
I developed 11 Custom Templates for 5 other Forum User from Sample Images they provided or Detailed Descriptions.
I developed 4 Custom Templates which use Circular Text Items & Circular, Oval, & Diamond Shaped Images.

I developed 4 User Defined Functions in VBA for Excel for Circles & Ellipse.

I developed 33 User Defined Functions in VBA for Excel for various Shapes, Paths, & General Use.
I've created a VBA Module with the most used of these Functions.
I've created Excel Workbooks for design of Arc (Curved) Text Items.
I fixed one LSL File for another User by changing a White Outline of some Text to Black & helped another edit the Grayscale Color of text.
I created Previews of all my Custom Templates & Images & have Mini-Catalogues of both as PDF Files.
I created 174 ICONS & a PDF Preview.
I tend to concentrate on Filling the entire disk surface especially with TEXT, Bold, Outline, White Text, & More Font Control.
I published 26 Newsletters & a List of Newsletter Topics about what I've been doing & 2 other FREE Programs I've been researching.
I have studied the XML parts of the 2007 Versions of Microsoft Office Access, Excel, & Word.
