Can anyone help me with this error?? C:\Program Files (x86)\LightScribe Diagnostic Utility\LSDiagnosticUtility.exe The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log for more detail. Thanks deringer

What version are you using?
If you're referring to the Diagnostic Utility saying the service is not, that could be ERRONIOUS.
The Diagnostic Utility MUST be "Run as administrator".
That can be changed by changing the "Advanced" "Property" in the Shortcut.

I did a Google search for Vista and the error message, the Microsoft forum says the system needs to be updated. I would update the system and the LightScribe software to be safe.
