Subject: disc drive is not supported

I keep getting an error message on my Mac OS 10.5 saying "the disc could not be used because the disk drive is not supported. (Error code 0x80020025) when trying to use the external lightscribe.

I have downloaded the supposed new software several times, checked connections, tried other disks etc. No results. This drive has worked well for several years, but suddenly is not working. Any ideas on what the problem is?

I recently installed a new Western Digital 1TB external hard drive for extra storage, but that shouldn't affect whether the computer recognizes the lightscribe.
