Hi everyone. I am new to the forum and also new to my lightscribe So please
bear with me if I have this post in the wrong section....... Here is what I am
trying to do.
I hope this is not to dumb of a question. lol......I am making a memorial
dvd for someone and i have made a collage of pictures using paint shop pro and
saved it as a Jpg format. I want to burn that onto my dvd as the background. I
opened up the blank cd template and it fit perfectly. But the text on the blank
template is set for circular and i need it to be straight. Does anyone know how
I can change the format from circular to horizontal or even Vertical? Any help
would be greatly appreciated..

I assume you are using the Lightscribe Template Labeler on a Windows system. Try downloading and installing the straight text template pack at the following link:

See if the text layout in these templates gives you what you are looking for. Also browse through the Design Center area for hundreds of different templates and ideas. A forum poster (cimofj2) has a library of custom templates he designed. Look at the post following this one and he has posted instructions on how you can obtain access to them via his skydrive.
Don't overlook the concept of using a jpg image as a photo on a template or overlaying multiple saved labels to print a label that a single template cannot accomplish. The timing marks on the disc hub index the print process and that allows you to superimpose labels. (It also allows double burning to make the print darker) You just have to be aware of positioning and darkness level of text and graphics so the superimposed lablels don't look like a disjointed mess.
