I cannot get Template Labeler to open a saved .jpg picture. I have re-downloaded the pic and saved it in .lsl, .lsq, .lst, and even .png format. But when I click on "open", and go to where I saved the pic, it either doesn't display, or I get the error message "Failed to read template". Why won't it open my file, and how do I get it to work?
Thanx.

First of all a jpg image has a .jpg or .jpeg file extension. Save the image as a .jpg. Then select your jpg as the "add image" item to an existing selected template that does not contain a background image and then simply save it as a label. You are confusing a template as being a stand alone image background entity. A template file has multiple text and image parameters coded into it and is far more complex than simply a label background. I know LTL recognizes jpg, png and bmp images but stick with jpg until you get a little more familiar with working with the Labeler and image sizes. Maybe this five minute video will explain using the Labeler more thoroughly:

Pay special attention towards the end of the video if you are using the jpg as a background or full disc image.

You are clicking "Open" too soon.
Select a blank Template and THEN click "Open" under the Select Image section.
Enjoy.
