What's up with this thing? I burned a cd with no problems. I flipped it to print it and it would not print. I tried another cd. Same problem. I tried again with the first. Didn't work. I insert the cd and pull up nero cover designer. I tell it to print the label, and the process supposedly begins. When it tells me that it failed, the drive will no longer eject. So, I manually eject the drive, take out the cd, and shut down the computer using the power button. No, the turn off computer dialogue does not do it. And I can't restart either. I have to shut it down, wait, and then reboot. Can someone help? I want lightscribe back....it worked less than a week ago.

Hi Philip !
I had the same problem with the first 2 spindles of Memorex and cleaning the LS Marks in the Hub.
Even now, I sometimes have to retry a few times to get these Marks to be recognized.
These Marks are used for Media Detection Positioning, and Timing.
This is the touchiest part of the technology.

I cannot seem to burn Lightscribe disks with any regularity. Sometimes I get a couple to burn, then nothing. I try rebooting. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesm't.
The most common error is: Lightscribe Error The disc in the Lightscribe drive is not recognized.
Amy suggestons?
